Y-M-C-A

The YMCA is my new best friend!!!!!!! I've been pregnant since I moved to Enterprise, but I went a couple of weeks ago to check out aerobics at the YMCA and Gold's Gym. They both have childcare! (This wasn't an option in Andalusia.) For right now, I'm going to the "Y," but I may try Gold's soon too. It's really kind of too good to be true for me, and it is definitely a saving grace right now! REALLY! I did pilates the other day, and as I'm laying on the floor concentrating on my breathing, I'm thinking....is this for real? Sawyer's playing happily in the nursery, and Eli's in someone else's good hands while I lay here on the floor??? WHAT A TREAT! I've been 4 out of 5 days this week, and I hate I missed the one day I wasn't there! I could go on and on about how much I enjoy/needed it! Anyway...just wanted to share my good news and pass it along to any other stay-at-home moms that have this option available!
(ps...Here's my disclaimer-if you see me soon, don't expect amazing results like i've been working out a lot. I'm enjoying it, but my pants are still a long way from fitting!)

Hi Ashley...I found your blog through Sarah Martin {a high school friend} and have enjoyed reading about your sweet {growing} fam! Your boys are so cute & Sawyer's cheeks are THE BEST! I joined the Y {in Atl} this summer & it is a LIFE SAVER!! I love it...I'm glad I've got another Y-for-Lifer out there!! Keep it up...you'll be back in those jeans in no time!

I NEED to find time for pilates or some type of exercise regimen. I love the feeling you get from working out--despite the soreness from the muscles that are being worked. It ALWAYS made me feel good when I used to run. I'm a big fan of the Biggest Loser show and wish they had one for post-PG moms like ourselves. :) I think I'd choose Jillian-she seems to be the toughest. Anyway, I plan on starting back really soon--I'm a bit behind. Glad to know you are having time to relax your mind!
