Sunday Afternoon

Walker, Sawyer and I made a quick trip to a pond by our house yesterday afternoon to go fishing. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it! :) I LOVE having Walker around! I got a couple of bites, but they both got away...so, we didn't have much luck fishing-but it was a fun trip anyway. Walker had shown Sawyer how to throw the rocks in the pond, so that's what Sawyer did the whole time we fished.

Yesterday morning at church we had 2 couples come into our Sunday School class to give marriage advice. One couple had been married 19 years and another couple had been married 32 years. They were both sweet, and I enjoyed hearing their wisdom on marriage.
Basically, they went over the role of a man and woman in a marriage from Ephesians Ch. 5. I think it's good to be reminded every once in a while how we were designed to help and encourage our husbands and how God designed marriage to be the closest thing on Earth to our relationship with Him. They said to make sure that your spouse is your number 2 priority behind God-even above our precious little children. They also reminded us that our mouths are powerful, and we need to be building up our husbands with what we say and do. I'm so thankful that God gave me Walker, because he really is easy to love and respect! Thought I'd share a couple of pictures from our fishing trip.

WAR EAGLE!

I'm so sorry for not posting in so long. I know it's not fun to check someone's blog only to see the same post all the time! Sorry!
I've got a few minutes before the Tigers play though, so I thought I'd share my sister, Katie's, new blog address. She's had a "website," where she posted pictures, but today she created a real-deal blog.
Also, for those of you who are Auburn fans...do you know about the book-Hello, Aubie! by Aimee Aryal? It was given to me by my sweet friend, Beth, from high school. I think it may be my saving grace for right now having a crazy husband who's STILL an Alabama fan-despite my best efforts to persuade him otherwise. I don't know many things cuter than Aubie, and thankfully, Sawyer agrees! Sawyer's now way into Aubie, and says, "Hey Aubie!" So, way to go Auburn for having such a fun mascot!
I have to say that so far...Walker Williams is not trying to persuade my dear child to follow in his Alabama-loving footsteps, and I am very grateful for that! I know some of you understand....this is a serious subject! I just want the best for our child!!! :) So, WAR EAGLE! Maybe next year we'll make it back to the Plains for a game. (I have to go to the bathroom about a million times a day right now, so the trip will be much more enjoyable for everyone involved next year!!)
Okay...more from me soon! :)

Little Rascal!

Does this look like a face that could get into something or what??

Sawyer and I have been to Bible Study this morning. He played well in the nursery while I went. I know he was probably ready for a nap, but we stayed and ate lunch. Hillcrest is so good about having LOTS for us to do, and I do enjoy a little social interaction, so we stayed. There were lots of mamas and their kiddos there. My little boy was WIDE-OPEN! He is a rascal, and I think he's in need of a lot of spankings to calm him down a bit. At home, I have to say that he is pretty obedient. I don't realize how wild he is until we're in more "confined" settings where he needs to be calmer! Woo-Wee! He's definitely all boy, and I'm only a few weeks away from another one! I think I'm about to have my hands full! :)

Darby's Designs

We got our new t-shirts from Darby on Saturday. Sawyer and I had already read the book, "Hello Aubie" and I had on my Aubie pin in honor of gameday. So, Sawyer was WAY into Aubie already. He kept waving and saying, "Hey Aubie!" (or at least trying)....So, when the mail got here Sat. afternoon, he was way excited to get the Aubie t-shirt. I didn't get a picture, but he wore his fish shirt yesterday, and I snapped a few! It has a verse from Jonah about Jonah praying from the inside of the mouth of the fish. Way to go, D-bone! I think they're really cute! Sawyer loves his new t-shirts! THANKS!

DANGEROUS Minute Chocolate Cake

My mom sent me this. Thought it looked interesting enough!

MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

1 Coffee Mug

4 tablespoons flour (that's plain flour, not self-rising)

4 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons baking cocoa

1 egg

3 tablespoons milk

3 tablespoons oil

3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)

Small splash of vanilla

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.

Pour in the milk and oil; mix well. Add the chocolate chips(if using) and vanilla, mix
again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.

The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!

Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. ENJOY! (this can serve 2 if you want to share!) And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

2 Days at Home

I may have a little comedian on my hands with Sawyer Williams. That boy cracks me up. We spent all day at home yesterday-excpet for our little walk around the neighborhood. I thought a walk sounded like fun, and Sawyer's gotten big enough to hold his own walking. But... we went a little too far, and he got tired-so I ended up carrying him up part of the steep hill beside our house. I'm sure we would have been a sight if someone had seen us. I'm only 8 months pregnant with a little boy who's in the 90th percentile for weight!!!!
I was glad to make it home! When we got close, he said, "Hey House!" That was the first time he's really put 2 words together. They asked me if he could do this at his 18 month checkup, and I got a little stressed out b/c he couldn't. Dr. Bang came in and said that was really a 2 year skill, but I guess he was excited as I was to see our house after our excursion!
When Walker got home we walked down to the pond by our house. Walker started throwing rocks in the pond. So in a few minutes, Sawyer starts to throw rocks in the pond. It's SO MUCH FUN to watch him grow up and to mimic what his daddy does! I really realize more and more how blessed I am to be able to spend so much time with my little boy! He is a hoot!
Today, I decided we should head to the park-about 11:30 am. OF COURSE, we were the only ones there. It's only 90 degrees in Enterprise, AL today. Oh well! The heat doesn't seem to bother Sawyer too bad, and I enjoyed getting out. Thought I'd share a few pictures.
In other news...Our little deer came back in the backyard at lunchtime today, but she wouldn't stay still long enough for a picture. I'm still trying to get her in action. Sawyer tries to call her now when we go outside, "Deer, Deer" (and he claps)...I keep wishing she'd cooperate for him!

These were the only other two kids at the park! :)

Here we are! 31 1/2 Weeks

Can you tell I have 2 (maybe 3)dresses that I like to wear during this pregnancy? :)
This was taken before we went to eat supper Friday night.

The whole reunion weekend was a hit! Friday night we had about 20 people show up for dinner, and we had about 50 on Saturday at the picnic. Saturday night we had about 100. It was fun! I really do love Hartselle, Alabama. I don't think there are too many better places in this world to grow up. The people I graduated with are some of my favorites. It was fun to see how everyone had changed. The girls all looked fantastic! They have only improved since high school. They're all skinny and pretty, and the guys look pretty much the same too-except more like "men"-I guess! There are a few with less hair, but for the most part-the HHS Class of '98 is looking and doing good! I'll have to post pictures that were taken when I get them.
We also had a great time just being in Hartselle for a few days. Sawyer had his first boat ride with Granddaddy, and Walker and Daddy caught lots of fish-so they kept him entertained. Katie, Scott, and their girls came to play a lot-so that was fun! And ol' Al and I had fun at our party!

I was just a young 'un. Now, I have a young 'un with another on the way! Walker, Sawyer and I are off to Hartselle tomorrow for our (meaning mine & Al's) 10-year reunion that starts Friday night. We've spent a lot of time getting ready for this thing, so I hope a great time will be had by all Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I'll be sure to let you know how it goes. Peace & Word.

A Day of Progress

Our Labor Day was spent very productively! Walker painted the crib he used as a baby for Sawyer white. Then, he started painting a chest and an old bed for Sawyer's new room. I can't wait to have him in his new room. I want him to love it and think of it as his before Eli gets here.
We're getting closer and closer to being ready for Eli. We're definitely not there yet, but I can see we might be close by the time he gets here! :)
I got to spend the day with my long-lost friend, Allyson Harper. IT HAD BEEN WAY TOO LONG since I had seen her. It was ridiculous and terrible, and I hope I never go another 2 months without seeing her again. In fact, I'd really like her to move into the new house they are building down the road. So, if anyone knows of a good civil engineering/contracting job for Wesley in Enterprise, please let me know asap! She does have a little belly and is looking more and more like a mommy-to-be! It's only a little belly-but it's precious, and I don't think she could get any cuter!
